Gud ki Bhakri
Gud ki bhakri is sweetened with jaggery that gives a variety to the simple bhakhri.
    Preparation Method
  1. Make stiff dough with all the ingredients. Cover it for 10–15 minutes. Divide the dough into 3 portions.
  2. Roll out a thick, round bhakri (1/4" thick).
  3. Pre-heat the griddle on a low flame.
  4. Roast the bhakris on both sides, till light golden brown.
  5. Make 4-5 cuts with a knife on the bhakri.
  6. Remove from the griddle. Apply ghee on it. Repeat for rest of the portions. Serve hot.
    Additional Note
  • Melt jaggery in little water.
    One can even bind the dough with this water.

  2. 1/4 cup jaggery (finely cut)
  3. 2-3 tablespoons ghee
  4. 2 tablespoons water (to bind dough)
  5. ghee (to apply on bhakri)
