Papad Ke Goyanne Ki Roti
Fresh papad dough balls (luva), wrapped in rotis, are a wonderful fusion of savoury flavours.

Preparation Method

      For the Dough
    1. Make a soft dough with all the ingredients.
    2. Divide it into 6 equal portions. Make round balls.
      To Proceed
    1. Flatten one dough portion lightly. Dust and roll it into a round roti of 3"to 4" diameter.
    2. Place one papad dough ball in the middle of the roti. Fold the edges of the roti over the filling and seal it.
    3. Lightly flatten it. Gently roll again into a round roti of 4" to 5" diameter.
    4. Pre-heat the griddle on a medium flame. Roast the roti on both the sides till they turn light, golden brown in colour.
    5. Repeat the same for the remaining dough and filling.
    6. Apply ghee on both the sides of the roti. Serve hot, sprinkled with methi ka masala.

    2. pinch of asafoetida (optional)
    3. 1/2 teaspoon oil
    4. water (enough to bind dough)
    5. pinch of salt (optional)
    6. For the Filling:
    7. 6 pieces of fresh papad dough balls (ready made)
    8. For Rolling and Dusting
    9. wheat flour as required
    10. ghee (melted to apply over rotis)
