A milk pudding served as the sweet course of a meal.
- On a low flame, melt ghee in a heavy bottomed pan. Add vermicelli. Sauté till it turns light golden in colour.
- In another pan mix sugar, milk and water. Simmer till the sugar dissolves.
- Add this to the vermicelli. Stir continuously. Cook on a low flame till the vermicelli is tender.
- Add cardamom powder. Garnish. Serve after 10 minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup warm water if the vermicelli is not tender. Too much water will turn it lumpy.
