Ripe bananas make a popular, sweet and sour vegetable. This recipe is very easy and quick to prepare.
- Peel bananas and cut them into thick rounds.
- On a low flame, heat oil in a pan for tempering.
- Add mustard and cumin seeds. As the seeds crackle, add asafoetida, bananas and dry spices. Mix gently.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes. As oil separates, switch off the flame.
- Serve hot. Cook close to serving time.
