- Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add asafoetida, mustard seeds, methi seeds, dry red chillies, curry leaves, peanuts and urad dal. Sauté till the dal turns golden brown.
- Then add the remaining ingredients, turmeric powder, rice, salt and lemon juice. Sauté the mixture well. Cook on a low flame till the rice gets cooked properly.
- Garnish with little coriander and serve hot.
