Hare Chane Ka Halwa (Sheera)
Fresh green grams: the main ingredient of this sheera echoes the winter season. It is transformed to an unusual mouth-watering dessert.
    Preparation Method
  1. Soak green grams in enough water for 4 hours. Drain. Grind them to a coarse paste.
  2. On a low flame, melt ghee in a heavy bottomed pan. Add the paste. Stir occasionally. Cook till the mixture changes colour. Add water or milk.
  3. Stir continuously, till the liquid is absorbed. Add sugar. Stir till the mixture thickens.
  4. Garnish and serve hot.
    Additional Note
  • Optional:
    Remove skin from soaked green grams before grinding.
