Besan Pudla
Easy, healthy & tasty dosa variant in a breeze.
    Preparation Method
  1. Grate cucumber, tomato, capsicum & cabbage.
  2. Chop coriander leaves.
  3. Mix all the ingredients along with water to form a batter.
  4. Gently whisk until all the ingredients are mixed properly.
  5. On hot non-stick pan or tawa add little oil and spoon out about 4" diameter circles of batter.
  6. On medium heat cook till small bubbles form then flip them to the other side.
  7. Serve hot with green chutney & tomato sauce
    Additional Note
  • You can also add crushed green peas

    Just wanted to let you know that when I was downloading the recipe pdf version it only saves the method and not the ingredients. ...can you please check it out

    This recipe looks wonderful. When you say a bowl (as a measurement), do you mean a cup?

~ INGREDIENTS ~
  1. 4 cups besan (bengal gram flour)
  2. 1 cucumber
  3. 1 tomato
  4. 1 small capsicum
  5. 1/4 bowl cabbage
  6. 1/4 bowl coriander leaves
  7. 1/2 tbsp chilli paste (green chillies mixed in a grinder)
  8. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1/4 tbsp red chilli powder
  10. pinch of asafoetida (hing)
  11. 1/2 glass water
  12. salt to taste
