Lachko Dal
A highly nutritive and digestive recipe served with Osaman and Rice.
    Preparation Method
  1. Thoroughly wash the dal 3-4 times in warm water. In a pan, soak it in 2 cups of water, for 15 minutes. Pressure-cook up to 3 whistles.
  2. Drain the liquid dal in another vessel to make osaman.
  3. To the thick dal, add turmeric powder and salt.
  4. Cook on a low flame. Stir continuously, till it thickens.
  5. Add melted ghee to the dal. Serve hot with rice and osaman.
