Raw Banana Wedges
Banana Wedges - Delicious filling appetizer!
    Preparation Method
  1. Cut the bananas into half and then cut each half into 3 wedges.
  2. Mix the raw bananas in a bowl with red chilli powder and castor sugar.
  3. Steam the wedges for 5 minutes either in a steamer or in a pan take water and boil it. Then put the wedges in a steaming plate and place the steaming plate in the pan. After the steaming is done, leave aside to cool.
  4. Mix all the ingredients of the batter alongwith some water to form a thick paste.
  5. Dip the raw bananas in the batter and then roll out in the crushed cornflakes to form a coating over it.
  6. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  7. Deep fry the wedges till crisp and golden brown in colour. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  8. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.

  1. 8 peeled raw bananas

  6. 1 cup plain flour, maida (homemade)
  7. 4 tablespoon corn flour
  8. 1 teaspoon green chillie paste
  9. salt to taste
  10. Other Ingredients
  11. Cornflakes for coating (finely crushed)
  12. oil for deep frying
