Meetha Shakarpara Recipe by Vari Shah 484 days ago

Meetha Shakarpara
Fresh, homemade sweet savouries are eaten up as quickly as they are made.
    Preparation Method
  1. Melt sugar or jaggery in water.
  2. Mix the other ingredients for the dough. Bind with the sugar water. Knead to a semi soft dough. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Shape each portion into a smooth round ball. Roll out each ball into even, slightly thick big rounds.
  3. With a knife, cut each round into equal diamond shaped pieces. Keep aside.
  4. On a high flame, heat ghee in a frying pan. Lower the flame. Deep fry shakarparas till light golden in colour. Remove, drain and put them on an absorbent paper. Cool and store in an airtight container.
