A highly nutritive and digestive recipe served with Osaman and Rice.
- Thoroughly wash the dal 3-4 times in warm water. In a pan, soak it in 2 cups of water, for 15 minutes. Pressure-cook up to 3 whistles.
- Drain the liquid dal in another vessel to make osaman.
- To the thick dal, add turmeric powder and salt.
- Cook on a low flame. Stir continuously, till it thickens.
- Add melted ghee to the dal. Serve hot with rice and osaman.
